Now this is how you win the Olympics — or at least our hearts

Team USA skier Gus Kenworthy is spending his free time in Sochi rounding up adorable stray puppies in hopes of keeping them safe. Olympics officials were outed before the games for killing stray dogs there in an attempt to maintain a clean image

When 10-year-old Colin from Kalamazoo, Mich., told his mother that he didn't want to have a party this year, she didn't listen.

Colin, who has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, often acts out in school and has a hard time getting along with the other kids in his class. He often eats lunch in the school's office alone because other students don't want them sitting next to him

Do you remember writing letters to Santa Claus, athletes or the president when you were in elementary school? Well, today we learned that some of those letters do make it to their intended destination

Leanne, a second-grade student at Baker Elementary School in San Jose, Calif., composed an adorable letter (pictured below) to slopestyle snowboarder Jamie Anderson. She even used the spaces between each word to draw small stars.

In the note, Leanne expresses her shared interest in biking, and offers the Olympian some luck via a penny attached to the letter. The token seemed to do the trick, as Anderson took home a gold medal, becoming the first-ever women's slopestyle Olympic champion Read more...

Curious coffee drinkers waited in line for hours Sunday to order a "dumb coffee."

A coffee shop called Dumb Starbucks opened in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles this weekend, serving up dumb iced coffees, dumb lattes and not-so-dumb viral marketing. The mysterious store ripped off the official Starbucks logo and menu, but claims to have no affiliation with the Seattle-based coffee giant

9 Ideas for Putin's Fantasy Olympics
Feed-twFeed-fb

The opening ceremony for the 2014 Winter Olympics were a dazzling sight to behold. With fireworks, beautiful choreography and an appearance of some strange furry characters on the ice, it was an overall success for Sochi.

But Russian President Vladimir Putin probably would have done things a little differently, if he'd had the chance. After all, he is the manliest man on the Internet, what with all the shirtless horseback riding and the shirtless fly fishing and the taming of angry leopard cubs

Twitter users all over are buzzing about what Putin's opening ceremony would have looked like, had we all just manned up and given him his druthers Read more...
